Now with a 45 minutes’ drive to the Rain Forest down highway 66, the guest will pass through towns and rural communities, which will allow them to see the identity of the real Puerto Rico. Once at El Yunque Rainforest the guest will experience one of the most beautiful spots on the island. We will make our first stop for 45 minutes at El Puente Roto, were guests will relish a true authentic river path. During this walk, guests will walk through the lush woodlands where they might be able to see endemic creatures, flora and fauna. El Yunque encompasses 28,000 acres and reaches an elevation of 3,526 feet. The Rainforest averages 280 inches of rainfall a year because of his daily showers. From the El Portal, they will begin a trip up route 191 were they will be taken to Yohaku observation tower for 25-minute picture taking and our refreshing, La Coca water falls for a 20 minutes.
