WEDDING CAKES

One of the best parts of any wedding is definitely the cake. It is an important part of the reception and symbolizes so much more that just a tasty dessert.

Although you may think it is just a cake, in fact, it will be the center piece of your reception. The eyes of all your guests will automatically gaze at the layers of cream, frosting and sugar with which you will cap the evening by cutting for all to share.

Your cake not only matches the style and theme of your wedding and reception, but that it is also a proper reflection of you as a couple.

WedAffair understands this, and our pastry chefs are very accommodating. All of our wedding cakes come in either standard vanilla or chocolate flavors. However our artists can change that - for a fee - to your favorite one.

There are important factors in choosing the right wedding cake:

• Shape will play a big role in creating just the right magic for your big day. There are a wide variety of shapes from which to choose as round, square, mini, oval and less common - hexagon and octagon.

• Flavors have evolved to the more delicate tastes now available: coconut, lime, almond and even pineapple. No matter what flavor your pick, ensure that your cake is large enough to go around with some left over for you to freeze for your first anniversary.

• Icing: our designers usually make it with sugar, however you can request yours with a special ingredient and/or color.

• Decorations: let you imagination go wild: fresh flowers, real fruit, ceramic cake toppers, sugar creations, etc... Our bakers will accommodate your wishes. Feel free to send us pictures of what your wedding cake should look like so we can get inspired and quote you accordingly before you decide.

Cake orders must be placed no later than your final payment. Once the order is processed it cannot be canceled. Should you require a different or additional cake, a new order will have to be made and paid immediately. Occasionally, some ingredients may not be available. Matching designs: we make decisions based on the qualities of our bakeries. Some designs are unwise in this part of the world based on available suppplies, skills and local health dept regulations. We use our best effort to provide each couple with as close of a duplication as can be attained. As with any handmade product, variations in each wedding cake are natural. We reserve the right to determine the level of replication and creative license.
